We very gratefully receive donations of household items, machinery, toys, games, collectables, horsey items, tools, anything at all for either resale in our Ebay shop or car boot sales or for use at the Sanctuary.

The Sancutary is entirely funded with money that we raise from external sources, save for the Government grants that we receive under the Small Farm Initiative (formerly the Basic Payments Scheme) which provides grant funding to farms and registered smallholdings for managing their land in ways which support our ecology Britain's dwindling wildlife population.

This means that we manage our land responsibly, taking steps to prevent poaching of our fields, severely limiting our use of herbicides for weed control, ensuring that our grassland is rich with a variety of plant species, managing the nutrient content of our soil, creating environments that encourage different species of wildlife such as leaving log piles, planting native trees and hedges, creating rocky areas, maintaining our multiple ponds, keeping our grassland at varying lengths throughout the year, and installing a variety of nesting boxes on our mature trees.

Car Boot Sales
We are often in attendance at the Sayers Common mega car boot sale near Hickstead, West Sussex, during the summer months selling all manner of household items that have been kindly donated to us

Ebay Shop
We sell usually larger or more specialised items that have either been kindly donated to us for sale or that we are upgrading or replacing at the Sanctuary via our Ebay shop. All proceeds of the sales go directly to caring for the animals at the Sanctuary. You can also help us through Ebay for Charities by donating a percentage of your Ebay sales to us - simply search for Wealden Horse & Pony Sanctuary in the 'Donate a Portion to Charity' section at the bottom of the page when creating your listing

In our local area we have a few collection boxes for loose change - every penny helps!

Regular Donations via Standing Order
Regular donations are very helpful to us as they help us to budget our monthly income. You can donate any amount in this way by downloading a copy of our Standing Order form here, completing the details and returning a copy to us at wealdenhorserescuecentre@gmail.com or alternatively use the details on the form to set up a one off or recurring donation to us via your online banking app
